NACHOOOOOO

November 26, 2012

Que Tal Carnal,

AHHHH. I havent read any emails yet, but i saw real quick in moms email that Chony had her baby! ahhhh. Pictures.

No mom, still havent gotten any packages or letters or dear elders from anyone other than the 4 i mentioned last week. How did all baby births, birthdays, holidays, farewells, visitors, and all that crazy stuff go this last week. Ya'll are so busy.

So last week when President Angulo kind of grilled all of the members at stake conference, it was awesome. There were 180 people at that stake conference. But 2 years earlier, there were 440 people in the same conference. He warned them that next year, they will be 90. A year after that, they will be 45. He talked to them about how, we as missionaries cant knock on doors, but THE MEMBERS CAN (and we will just happen to be standing behind the members). This last sunday, instead of having a 3rd hour, the whole branch met together, and asigned the members to families of inactive members that they need to visit, support, love, fellowship, and invite to come back. Yesterday we also had the Primary Program. SO CUTE. All 12 kids sang so well. And the chapel was decorated to the theme of Haz Lo Justo. We all got these cool Haz Lo Justo badges. But...more imporantly...Alma received the Gift of the Holy Ghost in the same meeting. My testimony of the Priesthood, and the Holy ghost grow so much every day. The church is true. Alma now is sharing the gospel with her son, Edgar. We have an appointement with him tomorrow. She is helping to reactivate the sister who gave us the reference to find alma. Everything is wonderful.

So Jimenez is a really strange place. I have taught a pastor (he went to Camargo, so we havent seen him in a while), a clown (he went to Torreon, so same story), a boxer (studies in an institute of technology and it is hard to find time to talk with him), and now, a Luchador!! haha. Yesterday, we found our reference, Vicente. He lives with his family IN A PARK. ha. Well, it is a park with stadium seating. But the seating is solid cement (well, hollow) because they live IN the stands. Like. inside them. There is a door, and inside it is a normal house. Except the cieling stairsteps down and is really low on one side. But they dont have to pay rent, or light, or water, or anything. What a snazzy situation. And more, he has been fighting in Lucha Libre for 28 years. His wrestling name is Estrella Infernal. And he has so many pictures of himself in his wrestling costume. haha. Its awesome. I cant help but think of Nacho Libre. But wait, theres more. He was already baptised. Except he was never confirmed. But all of his family are members (very inactive). So we are teaching him again. I am very excited. Ok. I am out of time.

But i love you all. Take care. Remember who you are, what you represent, and act accordingly. Don´t come home engaged, unless you are Brianna.

Love,

Elder Hansen
