La Misión Maravillosa

October 29, 2012

Hola Familia. :)

Ah, thank you for the plethora of piñatas, uh, i mean, letters, that i got last week. :) so grand. Ya´ll are the best.

Ah, Taiwan is awesome, huh mom and dad! ha. Sounds like had fun. I am so proud that my dad is such a stud. I tell everyone about my papa, el arqueólogo. I receive compliments on my spanish every day. I owe it to my awesome spanish speaking family.
Ah, and i wish i could see the house all decorated for halloween. This computer i am using has a background of ghosts and pumpkins that says Happy Halloween, that was nice.
ANd i think we get the ensign in english later. but you can send one anyways.

Oh, and i think that you can send pictures through email Chony, and i will be able to print them off. the printers here are pretty good in these cyber cafes.
That is awesome that everett is talking more! ha. so cute. ANd grand that marshall might have some friends after all. haha. that is funny that utah has less children than texas in the wards.

Maeg and Land, you weekend in BLue Ridge Parkways sounds like it was awesome! ha. You are a pretty bien suave couple. I love that you talked to the innkeeper about the church. My family is so cool. Maeg, nice work with the art therapy, those kids are blessed to have you.
how did teaching seminary go?
Oh, and to visit all of these women, Landon, we put chairs out on the sidewalk and teach them in the street. haha. But if there is a lot of traffic, we don{t really teach them much because it is hard to feel the spirit with loud cars going by. So we normally teach them in the chapel, which is pretty cool.

So right now we have 6 accumulated baptismal dates. Which is awesome, because there were only 2 baptisms in Jimenez in all of 2011. But i think that 2 of the baptismal dates are gonna fall through, because they were hiding in their house last time we went to visit. We saw them behind the door, cause they were sneaking aorund, but the door is made of that wavy glass stuff. Ah, made me so frustrated. Esta bien.

This week we found an awesome guy, who was a reference from a recent convert. His name is Gerardo, and he is super excited to read the book of mormon. After our lesson, he told us that he felt something, and he feels more spiritual already. YES. BUt he is leaving for Torreon this week because he is having heart surgery. So pray that that goes well so that he can continue progressing.

Oh, i foirgot to tell you that i have been able to ride my bike with no handlebars for a few weeks now. I check my planner and stuff. its pretty cool. I think it is because my muscles are adjusted to a bicycle now. It is hard to walk, and Elder ellis says i walk like a cowboy, cause i walk with my feet apart. ALso, i have buns of steel.

Well i have to go. WE got permission last night to go to Camargo today and PLAY SPORTS with Elder Ellis and Elder Lopez, because they had a baptism last week. This is what I call a reward! A real Pday. Cant belive it. I am stoked

Ok. I love you all so much. Have a fantastic week. Miss you.

love

Elder Hansen
