Hi ho family,
So i wont take much time,
because i am going BOWLING!!!! Woot Woot. So stoked. It is the zone
activity that Elder Tovar and i planned. Our zone loves us. And
president already gave authorization. Sweet huh.
This
week i bought a case of IBC Root Beer, and my companion bought IBC
black cherry. We were in heaven. I also bought a lemon sherbert. Best
week of my life.
On
tuesday, I DROVE A CAR!! how cool is that. We had to take some
materials to our new house, and president said we could take the mission
car. Fine by me. 2 fast... 2 furious... ehh.
On
thursday, we gave out more than 10 books of mormon to members to give
out. And more than 20 in the week. Plus all of the members who already
had books of mormon to give out. Good things coming.
Oh,
i am still sleeping on a blanket on the floor...and i am excited for
the day when i am not boiling, and something doesnt hurt.
I respect the sister
missionaries a lot. RESPECT. Keep doing what you are doing Tessaroo.
People need you. This week, the brought an investigator to church, with
whom we have battled so much to get her to church. Miracle workers.
Well, remember that i love you all. keep up the good work. Miss you. Really excited to go bowling. Ok. bye.

Oh, and here is my letter to president, so that this letter looks longer.
Eses comentarios me dolían.
Atentamente,
Elder Hansen
AND, here's the translation (courtesy of Google Translate) for that letter:
Dear President Chavez,
I am very encouraged by the good things to come. Although sometimes, you can not see immediate results on data, etc. The work is very rewarding. This week, we took the blessing and promise of Elder Salinas, and went with all the members we could find. We explain this big announcement and we challenge them to give books of Mormon. I'm so glad that I can say that we carry more than 20 members Mormon books to go around, and many other members had already made books to give away.
On Friday, we were walking in the street you live on our bishop, and had a woman reading on the bench, and then my partner said "saw what she was reading?" I replied, "No, what?" "Well, the Book of Mormon." And yesterday, the bishop's wife told us the story of how the family had received the Book of Mormon with much gratitude. Now we will be working hard with members and these people now have the fullness of the everlasting gospel in their homes.
At the same time, I had many frustrating moments or sad this week. Many members that visited, we were told that they would not give books of Mormon. They already tried before, and that nothing would change. Or they were too busy. So we feel that a family almost ran us when we started talking about promises esses, and they asked us if we would take a long time, because they were tired, and your neighbors are Catholic. Eses comments hurt. I could see the faith of many members has been weakened, and now I understand much better, the reason why we have to teach all members missionary lessons. I am praying and seeking opportunities to serve eses same members.
We had several opportunities to serve some sisters in the ward this week, and I feel very good about our efforts. A less active sister attended yesterday, and made many questions about what to do, so that she can go to the temple. It was very smooth.
I am very excited for the winter, because I get very tired physically in the sun. And I'm still sleeping on a blanket on the floor, but I know they're all experiences serve to my experience. I'm learning a lot. And I love the opportunity to serve my peers. But, yeah, I'm up for the day does not hurt anything. Haha.
And we are so grateful for the sisters missionaries here in the neighborhood. They love both members, and members are very grateful for them too. They brought a researcher at the chapel yesterday, and we had struggled a lot for that sister attend. They are powerful.
Thanks President for everything with that has helped us. I'm striving every day to develop my talents, and I'm always asking for gifts. My Father and I have been given some.
Sincerely,
Elder Hansen
