My letter will be short, because i
have to leave right now to go to a surprise Capacitacion by Presidente
Angulo. But here is my letter i wrote to him (Also very short).
Querido Presidente Angulo,
Este
semana ha sido muy suave. Yo he aprendido mucho, y todavía tengo mucho
para aprender. Este semana nosotros luchamos mucho para poder tener un
bautismo el 16 (Sábado). Era muy difícil. Y yo tuve temor que no íbamos a
lograr nuestro meta. El Jueves, una de las mujeres que tuvo fecha para
el 16, dijo con firmeza, que no va a bautizarse el 16, porque hay
conflictos con su hermana, y ella quiere que se resuelven antes de que
ella se bautiza. Pusimos otra fecha para el 23. El mismo día, la otra
mujer que tuvo fecha para el 16 nos dijo que no se sintió lista para el
16, y si nosotros estaríamos enojados si ella siguió asistiendo a la
iglesia pero no se bautizo. Nosotros explicamos el bautismo, practicamos
la forma de bautizar, y la invitamos a orar para saber que hacer. Ese
noche, ella tuvo un sueno de que se bautizo, y estaba saliendo del agua,
mojada, y muy muy feliz. El viernes, tuvo su entrevista bautismal. Y el
Sábado, se bautizo. Domingo se confirmo Miembro de la Iglesia De
Jesucristo de los Santos de los Últimos Días. He sido muy contento para
ensenar a ella. Ahora, vamos a trabajar mucho con su esposo, porque el,
últimamente, ha sido demostrado mas interés, especialmente en El Plan de
Salvación, siendo que su hija es en silla de ruedas.
Lamentablemente, dos de nuestros investigadores que
tuvieron fecha para el 24 de Febrero, se mudaron el Sábado sin decirnos.
Se mudaron a un otro Área de Juarez, y todavía no sabemos donde. Ellos
nos dijeron que van a mudarse en un mes, pero decidieron hacerlo ya.
Estábamos tristes. Es una familia incompleta. Pero sus familiares viven
aquí, y vamos a conseguir el domicilio, y pasar la referencia.
Tenemos muchos investigadores potenciales, y
esperamos poner muchos fechas con estés personas suaves que estamos
encontrando. Cosas muy suaves van a pasar pronto. Muchos cosas suaves ya
han pasado. Y es un honor estar en la misión en este tiempo.
Gracias Presidente, por este oportunidad para servir
a mis compañeros como entrenador y como líder de distrito. Estoy
aprendiendo mucho. Elder Pantoja es un Elder muy bueno. Esta aprendiendo
rápido, y va a ser un Elder maravilloso.

Well,
we had a baptism this last week. Best day of my life. Then we had four
investigators in attendence on Sunday (the cool family that walked into
the church alone couldnt come because they had to go to the cemetary). 6
of our baptismal dates fell because a lot of the people didnt come. We
finally got the inactives we have been working with to attend. there
were like 145 people in attendance, not really sure, just know we were
full. And i was given the blessing to give and unplanned talk. Went
well. Its what i do now. Prepare 15 minutes talks in Spanish in 4
minutes on a sticky note. The mision is fun. I miss you all. ANd i love
you like crazy. hope you all have a good week. Keep writing. I like
hearing about your lives.

Here are some pictures of the wonderful Ms. Mayra Faviola Rosas
Samaniego. Esposa de Daniel Zanabria. She was baptised the 16th and
confirmed the 17th, as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter
Day Saints. I have never been so happy. Not gonna lie, she is my
favorite investigator i have had. :) This family is so special to me.
Yeah, some more pictures of Mayra, and her daughters Valeria (6) and
Paola (11). Her husband didn't show up to the baptism. Or to church...
The dog of one of our investigators had puppies. so teeny. This was the runt. Easily smaller than my palm.
Mexico sure knows its bread. The bread here is so good. All of the
stores advertise that they have "Pan y Leche." And this is a gem i found
in S-Mart. OHHH, WHO LIVES IN A PINAPPLE UNDER THE SEA? Yea. It was
pretty good. Spongebobs house. Yumm.
